The history of the building that houses our hotel, ideally located in the heart of Strasbourg, near its cathedral, began in 1759. At the time, it served as a secondary residence for the Abbot of the Benedictine Abbey of Ettenheimmunster. Classified as a Historical Monument since 1922, our hotel still reveals its architectural treasures today: the mitre of an abbot at the top of the entrance portal; A high relief carved in pink Alsatian sandstone, representing piety (a woman's face) on the first floor above the central window, and three ears of wheat on the first floor below the central window.
